Internship @ Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

Hey peeps!

Erm I think Im starting to love blogging hahaha :D. I think it is the easiest way to express my feelings. ok cut the crap bla..bla..blaa so im gonna talk bout my internship in Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Keep reading ya ermmm eventho u find it boring heee :)

Just for your information guys, I studied in one of the private college in the heart of Kota Kinabalu's city. Im taking Diploma in Tourism Management and was in my final semester. Right after done with all the exams, we (me :), Rachel J, Melisa J Lo, Tatiana and Felix) decided to do the practical training far from home to gain experience and most important to learn on how to live on our on (bah basar suda kan hee :P). Then what a good news for us getting accepted as a trainee in the hotel we interviewed :).

So, the three of us me, Rj and Felix flew to KL on 1st october 2010. Erm what can I say is Im so excited but a bit nervous at first as this is my first time being away from home and parents. The hotel provide us accommodation, allowance (including transportation allowance) and Insurance. We stayed in the Condo with swimming pool, gym, restaurant, cyber, jacuzzi, 7E, carrefour, food court, snooker and dobby. Our place also 5 minutes walking distance to ATM, McD, Petronas, Secret Recipe, clinic and all kind of restaurants (apa inda makin m'gumuk =.='). Orait I think that is too much details about the hostel :D.

So our journey begins :). Im in Front Office department while RJ and Felix were in FnB department. Oh yah and we were waiting for Melisa and Tatiana to join us after their vacation to Philippines. Hurm my job was quit Okay but I don't really like SOME of the staff especially those who in FO department (not all ok). I could say they are not friendly, quit arrogant and sometimes rude (bukan semua ahh!!). Eventhough in FO department, but mostly my friends are from FnB and kitchen departments. Oh before i forgot, most of the hotel's staff are from Sabah, so it feels like you're at home :). And most important we have lots of friend from Indonesia :))) *huge grin* (trainee jugak dorg). They are so friendly! everyday we will walk home together (if sama shift laaa) and almost everynight we hang out :). Though I have lots of friends, but the first two months are the hardest one, im HOMESICK! :(

Finally after 6 months of training, we were free as flying birds. No more bangun awal p kerja! No more rasa malas pi kerja! and No more t'seksa tgu masa habis kerja! hahaha :D I guess that was the last time I worked in hotel line, no more hotel after this (hopefully laa). Working in Hotel you have to deal with your bosses, guests and it's very tiring duhhh!.

Then waiting for Melisa to finish her practical, I stayed in my bro's house. Last thing we wanna do in KL before going back to KK is to 'sukat semua kedai d kl' :P and our Singapore trip! :DDD
